Courses offered
Lifeworks Pilates is an Instructor Training Studio for Pilates ITC, a Registered Training Organisation offering accredited Pilates Instructor Training from our boutique, modern and spacious studio in Ballina.
Pilates ITC offers two Course options here at Lifeworks Pilates:
1. 10838 Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction
2. Professional Matwork and Reformer + Small Apparatus Instruction Pathway
These courses are specifically designed to create confident and competent teachers, who are ready to hit the ground running and instruct in all settings from fitness classes to able to teach in a variety of settings from group classes to private studio sessions.
Pilates ITC Students come from all walks of life, whether you’re a Pilates lover looking for a career change or are new to the Method and ready for a rewarding career. Pilates ITC Courses are science based and equip students with knowledge and experience to deliver safe and fun Pilates!
Qualifications involve a combination of online education, face to face Teaching Clinics, tutorials and Work Placement. We are here to support you to become the Pilates Instructor of your dreams!
Choosing a course
Choosing a course that offers anatomy and physiology and contraindications to movement as well as the full repertoire of exercises is paramount to becoming a high quality and employable instructor.
Pilates ITC deliver accredited outcomes for the Professional Matwork and Reformer + Small Apparatus as well as the 10838NAT Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction qualifications. These study pathways incorporate Matwork, Reformer, and Studio, and specialised study of the Method for special conditions, including pregnancy and post-natal, rehabilitation and elite-level conditioning.
Accredited courses
Choosing the right course that enables you to have the ability to adapt for each client will equip you with confidence, knowledge and safety to teach people of all ages and abilities. Knowledge is power and our course will give you the depth and understanding that so many short courses do not offer. Attaining a recognised certification in Pilates instruction, which is valued by employers and clients alike, requires a thorough understanding of the Pilates method that only comes from undertaking thorough training and practice.
PITC educators have many years experience teaching Pilates and have a wealth of knowledge behind them. They will guide and support you throughout the process.
